This announcement follows ForeScout’s launch of a new release of its flagship NAC product, CounterACT, earlier this month. The new version further expands the access control, endpoint security, scalability and remediation features and further simplifies the CounterACT product family’s ability to ease deployment, maintenance and global scalability for both customers and channel partners, including Data Integration.
We want to give our customers choice and help them to select a solution that is most appropriate for their needs. Many Network Access Control products rely on agents, but not all customers are willing or able to allow this. Because ForeScout uses Network Behavioural Analysis it means customers can achieve many of the security benefits of Network Access Control, without the need to install agents on the endpoint, said Garath Lauder, Managing Director of Data Integration.
ForeScout is delighted to be working with Data Integration, a specialist integrator with a strong track record in emerging security and networking technologies. This is proven by the fact they have already started winning business with our CounterACT product, said Tim Alden, EMEA Sales Director for ForeScout Technologies. By listening to feedback from end users, we have made CounterACT easy to deploy and use in complex, heterogeneous networks. This differentiates ForeScout from many other Network Access Control solutions.
ForeScout’s partnership with Data Integration was facilitated by Grahame Smee, founder of Cohort Technologies. Cohort became ForeScout’s first UK distributor in March 2007 after the vendor judged that market demand for NAC was sufficient to move to a two-tier channel model.
