Email content scanning

Many email content scanning products demand regular monitoring and manual intervention. Data Integration has selected a solution which we believe minimises this support overhead whilst providing a good level of protection from a range of email borne threats:

• Virus protection by running market leading anti-virus solutions such as F-Secure or McAfee at the email gateway you can filter out a significant proportion of malicious code before it even enters your network. Many organisations choose to use a different scanning engine at the gateway to complement their desktop protection.
• Content compliance scanning to ensure inbound or outbound email content that breaches your security policy are blocked (e.g. pornography, profanity or terrorism related content)
• Digital assets security using sophisticated scanning technology to identify and block outbound message or attachments which breach your organisation's confidentiality policies (e.g. blocking competition or price sensitive information)

Spam-blocking is a big issue for organisations because it is a serious drain on time and resources. Spam protection is a relatively new technology and there is a bewildering array of products available of varying effectiveness.
