Securing high speed SuperJANET links

Many universities are upgrading their SuperJANET links so that they can benefit from the increased bandwidth and power available from the new SuperJANET5. This is prompting universities to review their firewalling requirements as many older firewalls will struggle to cope with these new high speed connections. Universities also want to implement more sophisticated inter-departmental firewalling policies for example to screen important research networks from the rest of a department.
